Yesterday was gorgeous. Since we don't often get days and days of sunshine, we didn't squander our chance to plant our herbs and ferns. I wish this video were better quality because the patio looks lovely and it's very tranquil there. We call it the Grotto when we don't feel light-deprived.

Glad to hear you've seen the sun. We've had two days of it now. I got warm for the first time since last fall. I've been outside scraping dirt, leaves, and birdseed off the deck and tossing out the skeletons of fall mums. I took the plastic off the west side of the rabbit hutch so he can feel the breeze. Now it not only feels, but looks more like summer, which is my favorite season.
Yeah, I'm very glad we got the patio work done yesterday as it's 50F and cloudy today. But the forecast for Tuesday looks like we will get a brief warm up. I've got short sleeve options ready just in case.
Brenda and I spent Saturday shopping for herbs and plants for the garden. Sunday was spent planting them. We are not done due to some issues with our tiller but currently we have 25 pepper plants in, 4 tomatoes, 4 cucmber, some broccoli and some cauliflower. The herbs only take up a tiny space in our garden (about 75 sq feet).
Over the next week, we are going to plant the seeds, it rained yesterday so we were unable to plant the rest of the garden.
We are also planning on putting in a cherry tree, but that probably won't be until June.
But the most important question is if you are going to make your internationally famous salsa this year AND are you going to send us some??
