But the bathroom tile was going in today. When I walked over to get the car for my commute, I saw the tilers outside so I asked what they were working. How cool would it be if we really were able to move into our home in a couple of weeks??
We got a laser pointer cat toy today for our very bored cats. The two hunters are interested, but lose interest when they can't get a paw on it. Maybe the two lesser hunters will enjoy it more tomorrow.
We run ours ragged until their little lungs bellow and they lie down on the floor and can't run any more. The three of them chase it differently because the boys chase it while Chloe hunts it.
Our insect-chaser cat, Chester, likes the laser pointer best. I think it's kind of a dirty trick to play on a cat--a target they can't catch. But I don't feel too bad about playing it on Chester, considering that he's the one who topples breakable lamps during bug hunts.
The boys know what it sounds like when we even pick up the laser pointer and they start looking for the dot. If we run the dot across Eddie's paw, he does a hilarious chirpy meow and tries to bat it with his paw.
