He really was. Mostly he hid--I took this video on their last day. In fact, Kent was printing their boarding passes and you can hear the sound of the printer in the background.
The kids were great with the cats, which makes sense since they have a couple of cats. But our cats don't ever get around children so it was a brave new scary world for them.
